Open Peering Policy

TENONET maintains an open peering policy. We are happy to peer with any network that meets the following requirements.

Peering Requirements

Both parties must have a fully functional NOC with contact information provided for escalation.
Each network must maintain accurate, up-to-date information in PeeringDB and respective RIR databases.
Peers must implement proper filtering — prefix filtering, max-prefix limits, and traffic engineering — to ensure stability and security.
Peers are expected to maintain a minimum traffic volume for a mutually beneficial relationship.
Peering via public tunneling protocols (e.g., WireGuard, GRE) may be considered at our discretion.
If both parties are present at the same IXP, TENONET prefers peering through the IXP's route servers.

Transit Policy
We do NOT accept transit services provided via public tunneling protocols, nor do we offer transit connectivity via such tunnels. Transit must be established exclusively through physical links or at an IXP. Virtualized IX connections via tunneling are considered equivalent to public tunnels.

The ASN must have a reputable standing and must not be included in the AS-SET AS215750:AS-BLACKLIST.
